Join Our Team as a Retail Sales Associate – Part-Time!
Are you someone who loves connecting with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment? OWOC Market, located in Grand Rapids, MI, is looking for a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. If you enjoy helping customers and being part of a welcoming community-focused business, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll DoAs a Retail Sales Associate at OWOC Market, you'll play a key role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Assisting customers in finding products and answering their questions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Safely lifting and moving items weighing 25-30 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods while engaging with customers.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Comfort in initiating conversations with customers and offering assistance.
- The ability to stand on your feet for long periods and safely lift 25-30 pounds.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to be a team player.
