The Air Conditioning Service Technician plays a vital role in servicing and maintaining HVAC systems primarily within the residential market. This position requires expertise in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. The technician also supports installation teams and sales efforts, providing flexibility across service, maintenance, and sales functions. Daily travel to various job sites and collaboration within a small team setting are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance for residential and commercial units
- Assist installation teams by delivering HVAC equipment and materials
- Support sales activities related to HVAC services
- Carry out service operations and routine maintenance tasks
- Utilize standard diagnostic tools, mobile service apps, and proprietary software
- Travel daily to multiple job sites
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in HVAC technology
- Proficiency in HVAC system diagnostics and preventative maintenance
- Experience with HVAC equipment installation
- Strong customer service and sales support skills
- Mechanical aptitude and effective time management
- Clear communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in HVAC service
- EPA Certification
- TDLR Registered Technician
