Our sister venue is The Barn at Power's (located on the same property) hosts weddings, retirement parties and other events with buffet offerings.This is a full-time position. The individual must be able to work weekends. The starting salary is $20/hour plus, depending on experience. Please list all your experiences and skills working in a commercial kitchen/restaurant.Line Cook Job Responsibilities:Set up and stock food items and suppliesPrepares food (cutting, chopping, mixing and preparing sauces)Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standardsMaintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storageCleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shiftPerforms inventory checks and completes food storage logsOur commitment to our employees means benefit packages as well. Full time and serious part time employees can get health, retirement as well as paid time off. Full time employees work 35-40 hours a week and part time employees work over 20 hours a week.
