Works independently and collaboratively to execute technical designs, manage permitting, and support construction services.**Responsibilities:**∙ Lead the design of water and wastewater systems including distribution, collection, and pumping facilities∙ Develop engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates∙ Conduct hydraulic modeling and evaluate system performance∙ Prepare and submit permitting documents; address agency comments∙ Collaborate with internal teams and subconsultants to meet project goals∙ Maintain technical documentation including reports, plans, and logs∙ Support client presentations and technical discussions∙ Mentor junior engineers and design staff∙ Ensure compliance with applicable codes and quality standards**Qualifications:**∙ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program∙ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license∙ Minimum of 4 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design∙ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite∙ Familiarity with hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD) preferred∙ Effective communication and time management skills∙ Strong analytical and organizational abilities∙ Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary settings∙ Dependable and adaptable to project demands∙ Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed**EEO Statement:**All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Pape-Dawson is a leading civil engineering and professional services firm, with a history of delivering award-winning infrastructure and development projects with national impact.
