We are an established independent insurance agency in Harrisonburg seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative. This is a customer service position with no sales requirements or quotas. Our focus is on providing excellent service to existing clients and building long-term relationships.

Previous insurance agency experience and an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license are preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

· Assist existing clients with insurance questions, policy changes, and coverage needs.

· Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally and promptly.

· Process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and account updates.

· Assist with policy renewals and related administrative duties.

· Help clients with billing and claims questions.

· Maintain accurate client records and provide dependable customer service.

Qualifications

· Insurance agency experience and an active P&C license preferred, but not required.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Good computer skills and attention to detail.

· Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

· Friendly, professional attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

· Willingness to obtain a P&C license within 30 days of employment if not currently licensed.
