About the Team Established in 2023, the ByteDance Seed team is dedicated to discovering new approaches to general intelligence, and pushing the boundaries of AI. Our research spans large language models, speech, vision, world models, AI infrastructure, next-generation interfaces and more. With a long-term vision and determination in AI, the ByteDance Seed team remains committed to foundational research. With labs across China, Singapore, and the U.S., our team has already released industry-leading general-purpose large models and advanced multimodal capabilities, powering over 50 real-world applications including Doubao, Coze, and Jimeng.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sourcing strategy for key technical talent
• Source candidates through online channels (job boards, internal databases, forums, local social platforms, and professional networks across your assigned region).
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates, developing new channels of sourcing for our various locations.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to improve on recruiting process and efficiency.
• Support various hiring projects, such as strategizing sourcing talent pipelines (via LinkedIn, Facebook, and alternative search techniques).
• Conduct market and talent mapping to identify and assess strategic talent pools for current and future hiring needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of equivalent sourcing experience in a high-volume environment (via search firm or in-house recruiting environment). Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write professional market mapping reports. Experience with research/sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Github, other social media, or technical forums. Good time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, often working across global time zones.

Important Note: Please be advised that this job posting is on behalf of a third-party agency. This is a 6 month temporary assignment managed by a third-party agency, who will be your employer. While you may be assigned to work at ByteDance, you will not be a ByteDance employee. All contractual terms, including payroll and benefits, will be handled by the third-party agency.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $29 - $50. Placement in the range depends on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location. Your benefits, if any, will be provided by your contracting vendor/agency.
