Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Wichita, Kansas location to perform blood collections and specimen processing. The position involves venipuncture, capillary techniques, patient data entry, and customer service, with a schedule of Monday-Friday 7:15 AM–4:15 PM plus rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and assist with administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training from accredited program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service track record
- Valid color blindness test pass
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
