This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the chance to support mothers and babies in a collaborative maternal-newborn care environment while building your experience with advanced obstetric nursing.Job Details\n \n Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)\n Location: Brooklyn, Maryland 21225\n Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (18:50 - 07:20)\n Weekly Hours: 36\n Duration: 13 weeks\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220\n Orientation: 36 hours\n Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend\n Call: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule\n Setting: 10-bed Labor & Delivery unit serving a variety of maternal and newborn care needs\n Job Requirements\n \n Active Registered Nurse license\n Current C-EFM NCC certification required at time of submission\n BLS, NRP, and STABLE required; ACLS preferred\n At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required\n Minimum of 1 completed travel assignment required\n Charge nurse experience preferred\n Cerner experience preferred\n Experience supporting mother/baby care and scrub backup preferred\n Ability to thrive in a fast-paced obstetric environment and float when qualified\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients\n Assist with high-risk deliveries, vaginal births, and cesarean sections\n Monitor fetal status and interpret EFM patterns to support safe patient outcomes\n Support maternal assessments, pain management, medication administration, and IV therapy\n Perform newborn assessments and assist with immediate newborn care\n Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, family-centered care\n Serve as scrub backup as needed and float to mother/baby when qualified\n Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and follow unit protocols\n \n Explore this Travel Labor & Delivery RN job in Brooklyn, Maryland and bring your obstetric nursing skills to a supportive, high-acuity healthcare team.
