Job Title Reporting To Manager, Value Stream Work Schedule Onsite – Murphy, NC Moog’s Data Center Cooling (DCC) value stream supports the growing demands of critical infrastructure through innovation, manufacturing excellence, and a strong commitment to customer success. Our team in Data Center Cooling is looking for a Senior Technical Leader to join us. You will report to the Value Stream Manager, Data Center Cooling, and will serve as a key technical leader responsible for improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), process capability, equipment performance, and manufacturing stability across the DCC value stream. As a Senior Technical Leader, You Will Lead initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), equipment reliability, throughput, manufacturing capacity, and asset utilization across the DCC value stream. Analyze equipment downtime, performance losses, and quality trends to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Establish and improve process capability through statistical analysis, capability studies, process validation, and process control methodologies. Drive improvements in yield, quality, cycle time, process robustness, and manufacturing performance through data-driven decision making. Facilitate and coach teams in A3 problem solving while leading investigations of operational, quality, and manufacturing performance issues. Lead 8D investigations and cross-functional root cause analysis efforts to implement and sustain effective corrective and preventive actions. Serve as the technical owner for RPM-related process and test performance issues, improving test reliability, repeatability, and overall product quality. Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve chronic manufacturing and test issues and improve overall yield. Provide technical leadership and support for LACO initiatives, manufacturing excellence programs, audits, and operational improvement projects. Lead manufacturing readiness activities for new equipment installations, including commissioning, validation, startup, ramp-up, and performance qualification. Drive Lean, Kaizen, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives that support delivery, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. Act as the primary technical resource for the DCC value stream, providing guidance on manufacturing technologies, process optimization, and technical problem resolution. Mentor engineers, operations leaders, and technical teams while supporting strategic initiatives that improve long-term operational capability. Other duties as assigned. Salary Range Transparency Murphy, NC $80,000.00–$110,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
