Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.How You Will Make an Impact Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementDrive end-to-end delivery of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical roadmapsPartner with Product Management, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and delivery timelinesOversee design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable, high-quality applicationsEnsure adherence to engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentationManage team capacity, workload distribution, and performance, including hiring and development of team membersIdentify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing technical and delivery challengesContribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-makingDrive process improvements to enhance team efficiency, delivery speed, and product qualityRequired Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or mentoring capacityStrong hands-on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or similar)Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level, scalable applicationsExperience building and scaling technology platforms within the fund of hedge funds or alternative investments space strongly preferredStrong domain expertise in investment systems, risk platforms, data architecture, and workflow automationProven track record of driving operational efficiency and platform scalability within investment management environmentsProfessional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, or MBA are highly desirableFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practicesExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines preferredStrong understanding of system design, architecture, and software engineering principlesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to balance technical contributions with people leadership responsibilitiesSelf-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentJoin SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities.
