Member Assist Cart Attendant at Sam's Club Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr Overview We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, helping members with their purchases, and ensuring carts are ready and available. You will also assist members in loading their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This role requires constant movement, rain or shine, sleet or snow, as members rely on you. Responsibilities Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members Provide exceptional customer service across the club, answering member questions Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area Ensure pickup orders are filled by notifying members of delays, offering alternatives, and packaging according to policies Assist with transporting items, organizing merchandise, and maintaining availability of carts/flatbeds Operate relevant equipment and follow safety procedures; report unsafe conditions to management Promote the company’s products and services and resolve member issues Adhere to company policies and standards of ethics and integrity What you’ll do Ensure club pickup orders are fulfilled, inform members of delays or unavailability, and assist with alternative options. Ensure items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup and resolve member issues. Maintain facility safety and cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provide member service by acknowledging members, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing purchases, and handling payments according to policies. Maintain carts/flatbeds in availability and assist members with transporting items. Comply with Open Door Policy and company standards in daily work processes.
