Job Title: Maitre’d

Job Description:

A high-volume restaurant group located in Midtown is seeking an experienced and polished Maitre’d to oversee guest service and dining experience. Restaurant experience is a MUST for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality.

- Oversee the flow of the dining room, managing reservations and seating arrangements.

- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

- Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a professional manner.

- Maintain an updated knowledge of the menu, wine list, and specials.

- Assist with training and supervising the front-of-house staff.

- Manage VIP guests and special events to ensure an exceptional experience.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maitre’d or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant operations.

- Ability to manage a busy dining room and multitask effectively.

- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

- Restaurant industry experience is required.
