Team members collaborate across agencies while functioning as sub-divisions within their respective brands to provide dedicated support for the client. By acting as a unified interface, Constellation eliminates operational silos and presents a single service entity and primary point of contact for the client.OverviewBy implementing conceptual data frameworks and developing marketing science solutions, The Associate Director, Data Science is a key partner for our client and internal teams. In this role, you will show thought leadership in bringing innovative data science methodologies that answer our client's marketing and strategy questions.ResponsibilitiesClient & Business ImpactServe as a strategic advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on data science applications and approachesTranslate analytical work into clear business value and actionable recommendationsIdentify opportunities to expand data science impact and contribute to organic account growthProject & Cross-Capability LeadershipLead multiple concurrent data science projects across clients and capabilities with varying complexityDefine project approach, manage risks, and align stakeholders on priorities and outcomesPartner across media, strategy, analytics, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutionsRepresent data science across cross-functional initiatives and client engagementsThought Leadership & InnovationProvide a clear point of view on statistical methods, machine learning, and measurement approachesEvaluate, develop, and socialize new methodologies, tools, and AI-driven solutionsApply innovative thinking to solve complex marketing and business problemsTeam Leadership & CultureMentor and develop junior team members through coaching and feedbackFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environmentContribute to capability development, training, and best practicesQualifications7–9 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing science within an agency, consulting, or technology environmentStrong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, causal inference, and experimental designProficiency in SQL, Python and/or R; experience with distributed systems or large-scale data processing preferredExperience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, and incrementality measurementHands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP: BigQuery, Looker, DataProc) and deploying data science solutionsStrong understanding of modern AI/ML approaches and their practical applicationsProven ability to connect data science solutions to business outcomes and client valueDemonstrated experience leading multiple projects and influencing cross-functional teamsExperience managing and developing data science talentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for a range of audiencesComfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environmentsAdditional informationOur Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
