Description SCHEDULE: PRN; Scheduled to be determined by department needs Utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care in various settings - Inpatient, Swing Bed, OB, SCU, ER, Outpatient and Perioperative. The RN directs and provides patient/family teaching. The RN provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Requirements Current Iowa RN license. Graduate from an approved professional Nursing Program. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within three months of date of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is required within twelve months of date of hire. Takes responsibility for pursuit of continuing education. No experience required other than during formal education process.
