Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to inpatient clients, including evaluation and treatment planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement each patient's comprehensive plan of care
• Recommend, fit, and train patients in the use of rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities as indicated by patient need and clinical judgment
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Participate in non-billable orientation (approximately 8 hours) at the start of the assignment

• Minimum of 2 years of current inpatient occupational therapy experience (required)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (required)
• Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license - must be submitted with profile (required)
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)
• Skills Checklist (Occupational Health), current within the past year (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment (required)
• Must have personal reliable transportation
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Candidates must be available to work holiday blocks as scheduled, which may include: Thanksgiving Day/Friday/weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day/weekend after; and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day/weekend after

• Experience working in a large teaching hospital or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of medical specialties encountered in an inpatient acute care setting
• Experience with advanced rehabilitation modalities and adaptive equipment fitting
