Staff II Auditor

Staff II Auditor (Centerbrook, CT) We are hiring a Staff II Auditor to support federal, state, and local government audit engagements. Must be able to travel to audit locations within the U.S. and possess a Bachelor’s or advanced degree. Responsibilities Perform various auditing and/or accounting services in accordance with AICPA Professional Standards and Government Auditing Standards. Prepare work papers with detailed attention to accuracy and professionalism, documenting conclusions, and prepare appropriate reports/documentation. Perform duties as instructed for contract or program‑specific consulting services, including arrival on time and necessary documentation and equipment. Maintain accurate records of time and expenses to ensure proper billing of clients. Complete project and administrative tasks in a timely manner. Excellent attendance record. Strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines. Maintain confidentiality of firm and client information. Travel up to 50% annually to nationwide audit locations. Qualifications At least 2 years of accounting, auditing, or consulting experience. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or related field. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time for audit engagements. Strong time‑management and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent attendance and professionalism.
