Endoscopy Technician

USPI GCSA Ambulatory Surgery Center – Stone Oak We are seeking a motivated Endoscopy Tech to join our team. We have 1 OR room and 3 procedure rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Job Summary The Endo Tech assists the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. They arrange and inventory sterile set‑up for operation and pass items as needed to the endoscopy team. They assist in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for providing care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the registered nurse. They provide centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility, store prepared articles and supplies in designated areas, and maintain and track inventory according to facility procedures. This position reports to the charge nurse and ASC director. Responsibilities Assist the endoscopy team during procedures, manage sterile set‑up, inventory, and supplies, prepare and move patients, clean procedure rooms, store and track supplies, and report to the charge nurse and ASC director. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years’ experience in an established endoscopy center Must have working knowledge of standard gastroenterology procedures Certified MA or Endoscopy Technician #J-18808-Ljbffr
