Health Educator- Wellness Worker- North Central Region
$45 - $50 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp Employer Services seeks a health educator to deliver brief wellness counseling during biometric screening events. The role involves reviewing screening results with participants and providing personalized health recommendations in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret biometric screening results including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, and body composition
- Deliver brief motivational interventions to help participants identify actionable health behavior changes
- Provide individualized health recommendations based on screening outcomes
- Document participant interactions and maintain records per program guidelines
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Experience in health psychology and motivational interviewing
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic proficiency with tablet and computer systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Pass criminal background check; minimum age 18
Compensation: $45-$50 per hour
