Job Description Dental Assistant - Mobile Dentistry, Based Out of La Verne, CA In the past 10 years, our dental practice has provided a distinctive service offering comprehensive house-call dental care. Alongside our office in La Verne, CA, we extend our services to individuals who face challenges accessing traditional dental offices, delivering care directly to their homes through the use of portable dental equipment. At In Motion Dentists, you will join a TEAM of passionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional dental experiences to all patients in need of our services. With the continuous expansion of our practice, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a dental assistant to join our team, primarily to operate out in the field with mobile dentistry visits. Efficiently set up and tear down trays and dental equipment, ensuring readiness for mobile dentistry appointments. Perform charting for both the doctor and hygienist. Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for yourself and fellow team members. Driving work vehicles with the Dr or RDH to house call locations. Execute additional duties as assigned, such as taking x-rays, intraoral photos, and intraoral scans. Requirements: Current drivers license with clean driving record and safe driving skills Be able to lift 30-50 pound carts in and out of work vehicles. Available Monday - Thursday with occasional Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30am - 5:30pm CPR Certificate OSHA/ HIPAA Compliant Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required) Self-motivated, driven, and able to maintain professionalism in all circumstances Capable of completing work assignments with minimal supervision Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with a TEAM. Excellent and Positive verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in patient management and time management skills Physical Requirements : Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate suction, handle instruments, and type on a keyboard. Standing for a significant portion of working hours, as well as bending, lifting, and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision to drive, walk, close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
