Job Responsibilities Measure, cut, thread pipe; both stainless steel and PVC. Measure, cut, weld steel. Grinding, deburring, drilling & tapping, sawing. Follow instructions and maintain a clean work area. Key elements Continuous standing, bending, and kneeling on concrete floor for most of the work day. Must be capable of lifting up to 10 lbs. constantly, 11 to 25 lbs. frequently, and 26 to 50 lbs. occasionally during the workday. Knowledge, skills and abilities (Minimum qualifications) MIG and TIG welding experience, minimum of 1 year in a shop environment Welding certificate from an accredited program Ability to read mechanical drawings Ability to operate industrial hand and power tools Ability to operate a forklift Ability to read and follow instructions Proficient in math Problem solving skills and decision making ability Punctual, meticulous and reliable Courteous manners with fellow employees and customers Education and/or equivalent experience High school diploma or GED required.
