Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Public Storage is the self‑storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Earn $14.50 per hour. Benefits & Rewards Total Rewards package available to our team: Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm (weekends thru 5:00 pm) Full‑time benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, paid/sick time, flex spending) after an average of 20+ hours Company‑paid life, accidental death insurance, and exclusive vendor discounts Mileage reimbursement when traveling between properties or other work‑related tasks Performance‑based bonuses for Property Managers Job Description Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facility Assess customer storage needs, make suggestions, and sell packing and moving supplies Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required Physical Requirements Transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal Qualifications Experience : Successful candidates come from customer‑service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.
