Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Medcor is currently looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work part-time in our employer-based clinic setting in Waconia, MN . The work environment is a Employee Advanced Practice Clinic focusing on Primary and Acute Episodic Care. The hours for this position are Monday‑Wednesday 6:00AM‑2:30PM. Responsibilities The PA/NP will provide advanced care for the clinic, working collaboratively with other medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor associates, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. The day‑to‑day role includes close cooperation with the on‑site medical staff and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this client. Provide superior clinical care and customer service to Medcor’s client and employees. Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Base Medicine standards. Build and maintain internal team relationships. Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety and environmental practices. Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issues. Support client’s wellness and preventative programs. Document and manage information using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools. Educate patients regarding medical conditions and treatment options. Coach patients regarding healthy behaviors. Required Qualifications Valid unrestricted state of Minnesota licensure. Current DEA & BLS certifications. Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software. Positive and outgoing personality; collaborative team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, clients, and colleagues. Willingness to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Comfortable working in an on‑site clinic environment. Preferred Qualifications Occupational health experience. Previous work‑site clinic experience.
