Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.Job Responsibilities:Design, develop, integrate, and testembedded softwarefor defense and electronic warfare systems within the SPIN/MUEU lab environmentWrite clean, maintainable, and efficientC++ codefollowing object-oriented design principles and best practicesDevelop and maintaintechnical documentation, including software design documents (SDD), interface control documents (ICD), test plans, procedures and performcode reviewsDebug and troubleshoot complex hardware/software integration issues in a lab settingCollaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and government customers to define and refine software requirementsSupportsoftware configuration managementand version control processesParticipate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), and program milestone eventsEnsure compliance with applicablecoding standards, safety requirements, and DoD software development guidelines Qualifications Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years’ experienceExperience with Embedded Systems, C++ and object-oriented programmingInterim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
