Manufacturing Planner IKnight Aerospace is looking for a Manufacturing Planner I to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This role will support manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, BOMs, job instructions, work orders, and production documentation while collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.Salary: $54,000 annually Annual Bonus: 5% target Location: San Antonio, TX Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, and additional company benefitsWe're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technical documentation, and ready to grow within an aerospace manufacturing environment.Position Summary:The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for serving as the bridge between engineering specifications and production execution. These will include translating complex engineering designs into actionable manufacturing instructions. The Manufacturing Planner will represent the Company and its values and will ensure that the expectations of the Company's customers are exceeded.Duties and Responsibilities:Create and maintain comprehensive job instructions within the company enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemDevelop and maintain operation workflow sequencing of jobsDevelop a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) with precision and accuracyAnalyzing released BOMs to Production Control for stock verificationProvide updated BOMs to the Purchasing departmentEnsure consistency and accuracy of all manufacturing documentationCollaborate with Production Control to optimize manufacturing operation sequencing and requirementsCoordinate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturing operations align with technical drawingsGeneral Expectations:Written and verbal communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and collaborationFoster a productive and positive work environmentEffectively promote company goals across departmentsAbility to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, opportunities, and process improvementsProficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specificationsPreferred software knowledge: MS Excel, MS Word, and CETEC ERPMS Project experience is requiredStrong cognitive abilities and attention to detailAdvanced data analysis skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and report informationQualifications:High school diploma or GED (required)An associate degree or higher, or an equivalent certification with relevant experience, is preferredA background in manufacturing is highly valuedWork Environment Requirements:Full-Time Position.Comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environmentWilling to adapt to changing workplace needs4.
