Environmental Scientist

G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time Environmental Scientist with minimum five years of demonstrated experience to join our Environmental Consulting Department at our headquarters in Troy, Michigan. Environmental Scientist will perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations is required. Asbestos Building Inspector is a major plus. Required Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Environmental / Ecological or other related fields Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in environmental consulting Strong communication (verbal and written) skills Asbestos Building Inspector strongly preferred Phase 1 Site Assesments HAZWOPER training preferred Certified Lead Paint Inspector preferred Certified Wetland Specialist preferred AutoCAD skills preferred Strong prioritization and coordination skills, self-directed and self-motivated Good administrative and time management skills with keen attention to detail Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and have an excellent driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
