Environmental Scientist

G2 Consulting Group is looking for a full-time Environmental Scientist with minimum five years of demonstrated experience to join our Environmental Consulting Department at our headquarters in Troy, Michigan. Environmental Scientist will perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations is required. Asbestos Building Inspector is a major plus. Required Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Environmental / Ecological or other related fields Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in environmental consulting Strong communication (verbal and written) skills Asbestos Building Inspector strongly preferred Phase 1 Site Assesments HAZWOPER training preferred Certified Lead Paint Inspector preferred Certified Wetland Specialist preferred AutoCAD skills preferred Strong prioritization and coordination skills, self‑directed and self‑motivated Good administrative and time management skills with keen attention to detail Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and have an excellent driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
