Automation Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Automation Engineer for a hybrid (3 days/week onsite) position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Automation Engineer with excellent experience in PowerShell Universal scripting and SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, quick learner, capable of working independently as well as within a team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell Universal
• Work with MS-SQL databases for automation development and integration
• Utilize Python, Ansible, or Java for development, integration, and troubleshooting
• Operate within a scrum framework and agile practices
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a developer
• Experience with MS-SQL Database
• Experience with PowerShell Universal
• Hands-on expertise with Python, Ansible, or Java
• Excellent communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience with REST API interface
• Familiarity with scrum framework values and agile practices
• Hands-on knowledge of Jira and Horizon

Pay range: $78.04 - $86.04 per hour
