Value EngineerTurn engineering insight into smarter decisions—help shape how products come to life by combining cost engineering, manufacturing expertise, and cutting-edge AI and automation tools to create faster, smarter, and more cost-effective solutions.What's in it for you?Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans401kAnd More!Value Engineer Details:Direct hire position$ 65,000.00 to $ 80,000.00 / annuallyFirst shift (Monday through Friday)Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, CAD models, and application requirements to develop accurate and competitive product quotations.Analyze product configurations, materials, labor, manufacturing processes, and supplier pricing to determine product costs and profitability.Prepare and maintain cost models, pricing calculations, quotation documentation, and supporting engineering records.Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, feasibility, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer requirements.Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to recommend product modifications that reduce cost, improve value, and maintain quality and performance.Provide technical support to Sales, Operations, Procurement, Product Management, and customer-facing teams regarding product capabilities, configurations, and requirements.Support custom product development, prototype evaluation, testing, engineering changes, and pre-production activities.Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, and Product Management to resolve technical and commercial issues throughout the quoting and order fulfillment process.Maintain accurate technical documentation, product data, cost analyses, design reviews, and spare parts information while supporting product configuration management.Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quoting accuracy, engineering efficiency, workflow automation, and product value using engineering systems, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and other automation tools.Value Engineer Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (required)1 –5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or product cost estimationKnowledge of mechanical processes, especially welding and machiningExperience or interest in AI tools, automation, or digital transformation initiativesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skillsExperience with ERP or engineering systems (SAP, Teamcenter, NX Siemens, or similar preferred)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
