FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN V

Field Service Technician VTE Connectivity is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician V to join our Medium Voltage Energy Products team. This is a highly visible, customer-facing position where you will serve as a trusted technical expert, helping utility and industrial customers maximize the performance, reliability, and safety of TE's medium voltage solutions. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise, training skills, and relationship-building abilities to support customers throughout the Northwestern and Central United States. When you're not traveling to customer sites, you'll work remotely from your home office. Primary territory includes: Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Nevada.As a Field Service Technician, you will:Provide expert technical support for TE's Medium Voltage product portfolioDeliver hands-on product training to line crews, electricians, splicers, and utility personnelSupport product installations and ensure proper application and performance in the fieldLead customer training sessions, certification programs, demonstrations, and technical seminarsServe as a trusted advisor to utilities, contractors, distributors, and industrial customersRepresent TE Connectivity at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer eventsConduct product evaluations and basic failure analysis, documenting findings and recommendationsSupport new product introductions and customer adoption initiativesDeliver AMPACT® training and perform tool maintenance and repairs for overhead product linesPartner with Sales and Product Management teams to identify customer needs and growth opportunitiesGather and communicate customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insightsBuild strong customer relationships that enhance loyalty and long-term business successSupport additional field service and technical initiatives as business needs evolveRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in field service, electrical systems, utilities, power distribution, or a related technical fieldStrong customer service, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility and willingness to travel up to 75% domesticallyValid driver's license and ability to operate a company-provided vehicleWhy Join TE Connectivity?At TE, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on critical power infrastructure while working for a global technology leader.
