At Fairmont Orchid’s hottest new restaurant guests explore the creative culinary exchange between Hawai’i and Japan, utilizing centuries‑old robatayaki practices. The role is within a luxury, upscale, fast‑paced environment. What You Will Be Doing Provide unique dining experiences by offering warm, personal and detailed service. Ensure a positive first impression through cleanliness, set‑up and ambiance control. Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents, preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features. Upsell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue. Pick up and serve food and beverage orders promptly. Remember individual patron names and preferences for personalized service. Serve food & beverage according to service standards. Clear and tidy tables after guests depart. Perform opening/closing side duties and set tables to standards. Assist other F&B outlets during peak times or when required. Apply hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). Be well‑versed in fire & life safety/emergency procedures. Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene standards. Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management. Qualifications Attention to guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times. Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English. Ability to speak other languages; basic understanding of local languages is an advantage. Team‑collaborative mindset. Service‑oriented, self‑motivated and energetic. Required state and federal food and beverage clearances (Tuberculosis Clearance). Hourly Rate: $16.00 USD + tips Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; the hotel cannot assist with U.S. work authorization.
