We are a 6 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area. Job SummaryLeonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Pricing Manager. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or remote schedule. The Pricing Manager will lead cost estimating and pricing function for DRS Land Systems using ProPricer in a Deltek Costpoint environment. This is a hands-on production role, not a purely supervisory position. This position overlaps with the incumbent manager to ensure continuity of program pricing knowledge and customer relationships.Job ResponsibilitiesLead pricing team of six-FTE executing all cost and price proposals.Manage day-to-day activities, including the development, evaluation, and implementation of pricing strategies, cost models, and estimating methodologies across the full proposal pipeline.Ensure all pricing complies with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.Provide analysis, recommendations, and strategies to cross-functional management to improve margin and support price-to win.Direct fact-finding responses and updated pricing positions through negotiation to settlement. Support cost/price positions during negotiationsOversee cost volume development and production of certified cost or pricing data packages in accordance with FAR Table 15-2 requirements.Personally execute cost volume development on major pursuits directing analyst production work while owning proposal pricing, schedule, and quality.Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field, required.7+ years of DoD proposal pricing and estimating experiencePrevious lead or supervisory experience, required.Advanced knowledge of the practical applicable of regulations and estimating best practicesAdvanced knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CASAdvanced knowledge of all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysisExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointThe salary range for this position is $116,881.00/year - $157,659.00/year for the states of Illinois and Minnestoa, $128,492.00/year - $173,464.00/year for the state of Washington, and $134,332.00/year - $181,349.00 for the state of California. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
