Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (0630–1700) with Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as first assistant in a multi-suite OR environment consisting of 6 OR suites and 2 GI suites, supporting 10 to 30 cases per day
• Assist with a broad range of surgical cases including orthopedic procedures (TKA, THA, ORIF), robotic surgeries (cholecystectomy, hernia), cataracts, GI endoscopies, and podiatry
• Perform scrubbing duties as required for surgical procedures
• Fulfill call obligations including 2 weeknight call shifts per week, 1 weekend call every 4th weekend, and 1 summer and 1 winter holiday call
• Respond to call within 30 minutes when required
• Float occasionally to interventional radiology for pain cases, the emergency department, or floor areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with RNFA certification or training
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to scrub surgical cases as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across a broad surgical specialty mix including GI endoscopy, ophthalmology, and podiatry
• Comfort with floating to interventional radiology, emergency department, or floor settings
