Here are the details on this position.Your role in our missionLead Quality and Testing StrategyDevelop and maintain the overall testing strategy for projects, enhancements, releases, and operational initiatives.Establish testing standards, methodologies, quality controls, and best practices.Drive continuous improvement and adoption of modern testing approaches, including automation and shift-left testing practices.Ensure quality objectives align with business goals, contractual commitments, and client expectations.Manage Testing OperationsLead all phases of testing, including:Test planningTest case designTest executionDefect managementSmoke testingRegression testingSystem Integration Testing (SIT)End-to-End TestingUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) supportDevelop effort estimates, resource plans, and testing schedules for large and complex initiatives.Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality metrics.Lead and Develop TeamsManage a blended team of onshore and offshore testing professionals.Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for testing staff.Balance resources across multiple projects, releases, and competing priorities.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.Partner with Internal and Client StakeholdersCollaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Functional Area Leads, Developers, Architects, Release Managers, and client representatives.Participate in planning sessions, design reviews, release readiness reviews, and quality governance activities.Communicate testing status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and client stakeholders.Drive Quality GovernanceEstablish and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.Facilitate defect triage and root cause analysis activities.Assess release readiness and provide recommendations for Go/No-Go decisions.Identify opportunities to improve testing effectiveness, efficiency, and overall product quality.What we're looking forEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.Experience8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.3+ years of leadership experience managing testing teams and quality programs.Experience leading testing efforts for large-scale enterprise systems.Experience managing testing activities across multiple concurrent projects and releases.Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.Experience managing onshore and offshore testing resources.Technical SkillsRequirement Ambiguity AnalysisTest Strategy and PlanningTest Management and ExecutionDefect Lifecycle ManagementIntegration and End-to-End TestingRequirements TraceabilityRelease Validation and Readiness AssessmentsQuality Metrics and ReportingRoot Cause AnalysisRisk ManagementTest management and defect tracking tools (ALM preferred)SQL and data validation techniquesTest automation tools and frameworks (Selenium or Quantum X preferred)What sets you apart Experience supporting Medicaid, healthcare, government, or highly regulated environments.Experience with large-scale system modernization initiatives.Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders.Experience implementing quality governance and release readiness frameworks.Experience driving testing automation initiatives and quality transformation programs.
