Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
• Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and manage documentation efficiently
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions to address students’ motor and mobility needs
• Collaborate with classroom teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the educational setting
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as students’ needs evolve
• Educate staff and families on best practices to support students’ physical development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
