UAT Tester Advanced (>6 years)

Job Summary: This is a back-end validation role - not UI/front-end testing. You'll own test planning, execution, and documentation for user acceptance testing across business scenarios, working directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements and report status. What You'll Do: Execute business scenarios in a UAT environment, with a focus on back-end validation (not UI) Understand business requirements and translate them into test intent Create and refine test approach and test plans Write clear, detailed test cases and document execution results and defects Partner with stakeholders to clarify open questions and communicate testing status Maintain testing artifacts and keep them current Reconcile results across test groups/teams Support process improvements and testing-readiness milestones alongside the UAT Lead/Manager Present testing status and findings to leadership as needed Must-Have Qualifications: Advanced SQL - must be able to write complex queries independently Backend validation experience - this is non-negotiable for the role Hands-on UAT experience - both executing tests and documenting them Strong track record of documenting test cases, execution, and defects clearly and thoroughly Strong communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to leadership Self-driven with strong attention to detail Quick learner who can ramp across multiple products/workstreams Nice-to-Have / Pluses (candidates with these moves to the top of the pile): QTest JIRA Confluence AWS knowledge Exposure to LLM tools or applied AI/innovation in a testing workflow Finance industry background Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
