Job Title Expeditor Reports To Department Manager Purpose To safely and efficiently document, track and communicate needed materials within the department. Responsibilities Document and track material needs across the department. Communicate material requirements to relevant stakeholders. Load and unload trailers related to shipping and receiving. Complete necessary paperwork for shipping and receiving. Enter SAP transactions for material tracking. Qualifications Ability to work safely. Ability to read, write and follow complicated directions. Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in computer use, Microsoft Office, and efficient typing. Good math skills. Knowledge of Texturing and Preparation PIV duties. Works well with others. Equipment & Tools Computer, telephone, printer, copier, office supplies. Authorized Training 16 weeks. Physical Requirements Standing: Ability to walk through offices and manufacturing floor – 50% of day. Sitting: Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods – 100% of day. Lifting: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds to desk level – 5% periodically. Pushing: Ability to push push-carts – 5% periodically. Reaching: Ability to reach office supplies and materials on floor and 5 ft cabinet height – 10% of day. Walking: Ability to walk through the plant – 10% of day. Vision: Ability to view, read, interpret and analyze data on paper and screens – 90% of day. Environment: Ability to work around polyester, nylon and acetate – 100% of day. Temperature: Ability to work in a conditioned indoor environment where temperature varies – 100% of day. Breaks: Ability to follow defined break schedule – 10% of day. Manufacturing: Ability to work in environment around powered material handling vehicles and moving mechanical parts – 100% of day. Attendance: Must be able to regularly and predictably attend scheduled hours – 100% of day.
