More Than a Job: A Mission We are looking for a passionate Process Engineer to design and optimize manufacturing processes that power the next generation of sustainable mobility. You will collaborate with dedicated teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our production lines, ensuring every component contributes to a reliable and innovative rail system. Your Role, Your Impact Develop and implement scalable manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and ensure seamless production transitions. Drive process reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Innovate by introducing automation and digital tools to enhance production performance. Share knowledge and best practices across teams to foster a culture of operational excellence. You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of two years of experience in engineering, quality, and production environments. Experience related to supplier quality, supplier development, vendor quality, or vendor development functions is desirable. Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D problem solving and root cause analysis. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30–40% of the time to supplier sites, primarily within the United States, with limited travel to Mexico. Ability to work in a hybrid environment with four onsite days per week and one remote workday Experience with process simulation tools such as AutoCAD or Siemens Tecnomatix. Strong understanding of quality systems like ISO 9001 and PFMEA. Ability to analyze production data using statistical process control (SPC) methods. Green Belt certification or demonstrated problem-solving expertise - desired. How Success Is Measured Achievement of process optimization and production efficiency targets. Effective collaboration and communication across engineering and operations teams. Reduction in process defects and improvement in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
