Join Our Team! Valencia College is now hiring a Learning Assistant II (Tutor) to join the Learning Support Tutoring team at the Osceola Campus. This position will be supporting students in Science. Responsibilities Support students in Science. Qualifications Previous tutoring experience Successfully completed one or more of the following courses: Biology: Biological Science, Biology I, Biology II, Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II Chemistry: Chemistry in Everyday Life, Introduction to General Chemistry, General Chemistry I and II Benefits FICA Alternative to Social Security Free Lynx Bus Transportation Retirement Saving Options Educational and Professional development opportunities Additional Information This position operates in a Fully Onsite environment. This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute 295.07(5)(a), F.S. In order to be considered for this position, you will need to upload an unofficial undergraduate transcript(s) as evidence of successful completion of college-level academic work and verification of meeting a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement.
