Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The primary duties include managing an average of 12 to 15 patients per day, executing independent clinical procedures such as Urodynamics (UDS) testing, catheter management, injections, and supporting physicians with invasive prostate procedures. Additionally, the role involves handling phone nurse triage for post-surgical complications.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Manage high patient volume with precision and efficiency.
• Run independent clinical procedures, including UDS testing and heavy insertion or removal of catheters.
• Administer injections for testosterone, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer treatments.
• Assist physicians with invasive prostate procedures.
• Conduct phone nurse triage for post-surgical complications.
• Clean and replace pessaries every 6 weeks.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license.
• Proficiency and comfort with catheter placement and removal.
• Ability to quickly adapt and move within a high patient volume setting.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Experience

• Urology experience preferred.
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred.

Schedule / Shift

M/W/F: 8-5 or 8-4:30 in specified locations.

T/Th: 8-5 or 8-4:30 in specified locations.
