Exposure to blood and other body emesis-born pathogens. Proficient use of HIS/RIS, CR, PACS, and tele-radiology networking. Uses stationary or mobile radiographic or fluoroscopic systems. Assesses patient imaging needs for sequencing, equipment selection and settings, and scheduling. Performs at a level requiring minimal direct supervision. Primary patient contact is adult in nature with less than 10% being pediatric. As required, assumes responsibility for delegated areas within scope of training. Ability to work long or irregular hours in order to maintain staffing requirements to meet patient care needs is essential. Provides rotational holiday shift coverages and assumes on-call coverage assignments and provides emergency callback coverage as assigned/needed &/or in the event of acute patient demands or Radiology staffing shortage(s). Rotates coverage for operating room and day surgery radiological needs as assigned. Provides frequent imaging of ED/ER patients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
