Travel Physical Therapist - $2,629 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Travel PTs will work 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts and receive competitive pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance from day one, paid time off after 1560 hours, 401(k) matching, life and short‑term disability, and a reimbursement program for licensure and continuing education. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities. Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely and effectively. Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of South Carolina. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting. Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with PC applications and electronic medical records. Physical ability to remain in stationary or mobile positions, lift 50‑100 lbs, and perform transfers. Ability to work independently and under close supervision as needed. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. New graduates acceptable with strong foundational skills.
