About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Multifamily Estimator to join our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor, a solid understanding of multifamily construction, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for multifamily residential projects ranging from $5M to $50M+ Analyze plans, specifications, and addenda to develop accurate and competitive bids Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids Collaborate with project managers, architects, and owners during preconstruction Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and risk items Maintain and update historical cost data and bid databases Participate in owner presentations and scope review meetings Support the project team during buyout and procurement phases Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor — multifamily experience required Strong understanding of multifamily construction methods, materials, and systems Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software such as Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil plans Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids under deadline Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred — equivalent experience considered Why Join Us Competitive salary and performance-based bonus Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with company match Stable pipeline of work with room for advancement Collaborative and supportive team culture
