The successful candidate will be a seasoned engineering leader with a relentless drive, particularly in the context of hypergrowth startups. This role involves direct partnership with the CEO, leading a small but highly efficient team of engineers, and taking ownership of all engineering outcomes, from features to infrastructure. The Head of Engineering will be responsible for recruiting top-tier talent, driving the AI-native SDLC, and setting technical direction across various aspects of the platform. Deep technical credibility, experience in operating financial systems at scale, and a business-minded approach to engineering are essential. Applicants for the Head of Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A background in hypergrowth startups, particularly in the Seed through Series C stages, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be fluent in AI-native engineering, with a proven track record of driving an agent-based SDLC.
