DISHWASHER (FULL & PART TIME)

Job Summary Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. Position Details Location: QDOBA at UNCC – 9201 University City Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28223. Schedule: Full Time and Part Time. Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.50 per hour. Perks: Transit availability, shift meal provided, uniform shirt provided. Qualifications Previous dishwashing experience in a high‑volume setting preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on the conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Polish silver using the burnishing machine tumblers, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths, depending on assigned equipment, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures. Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards. Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces. Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam‑clean or hose out garbage cans. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Help load and unload supplies and product. Perform other duties as assigned.
