Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy - Acute Care OT to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and treatments for general acute care patients.
• Assess and enhance patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation through the Epic charting system.
• Follow all facility protocols and regulatory guidelines for patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy, preferably in acute care.
• Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Proficient in using the Epic charting system.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
