Shift Manager – McDonald's Job Description: Level 5 / Non‑Exempt / Full‑Time / Hourly Employee / Reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities Lead a shift, including employee training, food and restaurant safety, and guest satisfaction. Effectively delegate tasks to crew members and maintain shift targets. Support the Assistant Manager and General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen – maintain food quality and safety. People – coach, train, and provide feedback in the hiring decision‑making process. Service – deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring the shift is well‑prepared and organized to provide the best service to every guest, both internal and external.
