**Join Our Team as an Ultrasound Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Dive into the world of Diagnostic Ultrasound and make a difference by using high frequency sound waves to assist in detecting anatomical abnormalities. - Perform specialized ultrasound procedures within a structured format, ensuring timely completion of exams. - Engage with the latest technology by utilizing systems such as EPIC and Tele tracking for patient scheduling and clerical duties. - Take part in portable ultrasound exams, bringing quality care directly to patients in need. - Conduct complex diagnostic tasks with the aim of detecting masses, abscesses, and stones while assisting physicians with core procedures like biopsies. - Prepare and maintain medical supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure smooth operations in the department. - Ensure patient comfort by preparing them for diagnostic procedures and explaining the processes clearly. - Evaluate, acquire, and process high-quality images, addressing any technical issues to maintain standard procedures. - Maintain meticulous records of ultrasound images and patient data, managing archiving processes as needed. - Keep ultrasound equipment in optimal condition through calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance. - Provide instructional support to students, employees, and medical residents, enhancing their learning experience. - Meet physical demands by lifting a minimum of 25 lbs, pushing and pulling a minimum of 50 lbs, and standing for at least 6 hours daily. - Uphold a welcoming atmosphere by greeting patients in accordance with A.I.D.E.T. standards. - Commit to scheduled shifts while being flexible to cover overtime and on-call needs. - Adhere to all department policies, including those related to attendance, behavior, and standards of practice. - Tailor patient care based on individual needs — considering age, culture, and communication methods to ensure comfort and understanding. - Embrace the standards defined in the Medical Center’s Organizational Competencies. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
