Pivotal Health offers a unique pathway for respiratory professionals seeking to earn their Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential and grow their career in the rapidly expanding field of sleep medicine. What You'll Do As a Sleep Technologist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing. Key Responsibilities Conduct overnight polysomnographic sleep studies Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures Apply electrodes, sensors, and monitoring equipment according to industry standards Calibrate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment Monitor and evaluate patient physiological data throughout the night Perform PAP mask fittings and troubleshooting Score and analyze sleep, respiratory, and cardiac events Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Ensure compliance with all laboratory, regulatory, and safety standards Deliver outstanding patient-focused care and support What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program Current New York PSG License and/or CRT/RRT License Current BLS/CPR Certification Required immunizations and health clearances Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills Preferred Qualifications Current RPSGT Certification Previous sleep laboratory experience #J-18808-Ljbffr RiseMe
