Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with flexible scheduling options: 2 twelve-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) and/or 4 ten-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Manager will discuss specific schedule during phone interview
• On-call requirement: every third weekend or less, averaging 1-2 call days per week and 1 weekend per month
• 30-minute response time required for call situations
• Holiday coverage: on-call only, otherwise off
• Work with 6 suites/labs handling 25-30 cases per day on average
• Daily staffing includes 14 technologists and 7 RNs with 1 charge nurse
• Handle common cases including left and right heart catheterizations, complex PCI, Impella and IABP, electrophysiology, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman), interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Work with equipment including EPIC, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE Imaging, CARTO, and Abbott EP
• Hospital provides surgical attire
• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, RCIS via CCI verification
• Must have Washington DOH CVIS or RT license
• Radiation badge required (facility does not supply or track - must have prior to starting)
• Floor-specific orientation less than 1 week if competent
• Floating only in emergency situations
• Work in busy multimodality lab with critical care patient support during procedures
