Make a meaningful difference supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a thriving school-based setting near Redwood City, CA. This full-time, contract role provides the opportunity to work onsite with students at multiple campuses, collaborating closely with educators and families to enhance student success and participation in the educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license or eligibility for licensing as an Occupational Therapist in California in accordance with the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act
- At least two years of hands-on clinical experience in pediatric therapy, particularly with developmental disabilities
- Prior work in educational settings, supporting students’ access and engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven record of effective, collaborative teamwork with both professionals and families
- Commitment to onsite services (not open to virtual or hybrid delivery)
Position Details:
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
- Assignment duration: Immediate start through June 11
- Provide services at assigned school campuses, delivering assessments, intervention, and consultation
- Develop and implement individualized plans focusing on students' functional and developmental needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and support IEP processes
- Offer expert recommendations and training to staff and families to maximize student outcomes
