Responsibilities As a Quantitative Researcher, you’ll help develop the next generation of machine learning models that identify predictive patterns in global financial markets. Your work may include: Designing and implementing state‑of‑the‑art machine learning models for large‑scale prediction problems Working with massive structured and alternative datasets to uncover meaningful signals Developing novel statistical methods and predictive features Reading, evaluating, and extending cutting‑edge academic research Designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and validating ideas through simulation Collaborating with experienced researchers across disciplines to transform research into production‑ready strategies Your research has a direct impact – from idea generation to live trading Find the Team That Fits Your Strengths Rather than hiring into a single narrow role, we match researchers to the team where they can have the greatest impact. The base salary for this role is $150,000 to $200,000, and will be determined based on the candidate’s educational background and professional experience. Base salary is one component of Trexquant’s total compensation package, which may also include a discretionary, performance‑based bonus. This position is classified as overtime‑exempt.
